スポーツで日本語を学ぼう

今日は、スポーツについての日本語を学びましょう。

みなさんの住んでいる国・地域（ちいく）ではどんなスポーツが人気ですか。
What kind of sports are popular in your country or region.

日本にもたくさん人気なスポーツがありますが、一番人気のあるスポーツは野球とサッカーだと思います。
There are many popular sports in Japan but I think baseball and soccer are the top major sports in japan.

そして、相撲（すもう）ももちろん人気があります。また、ゴルフやバスケも人気ですね。
Sumo wrestling which is the japanese original  is also very popular.

ちなみに、play sports というときの動詞（どうし）playは、「する」、もしくは「やる」をつかいます。
When you want to say “play sports” , the verb “する “or “やる” is used.
When you look up the dictionary, you might find the translation ”遊ぶ” for “play”. But”遊ぶ” is a intransitive verb so basically it cannot talke the object noun and it can not be used in these context.

なので、play soccerは「サッカーをする」。play baseballは「野球をする」といいます。
また、play a match, play a gameは「試合をする」といいます。

■例文
・昨日、友達と野球をしました。
I played baseball with my friends yesterday.

・一緒にバスケしない！？
Why don’t you play basketball with us?

スポーツで身体を動かすのは楽しいですよね。
